Underground Fitter

Boom Welders Australia are seeking UNDERGROUND FITTERS for Long Term/Ongoing work in the Bowen Basin region.

Our client’s underground mine services have been developed over the past 10 years, by providing timely, cost effective services, whilst still maintaining a high quality and professional approach to safety management.

The successful candidate is required to have the following:

• MUST HAVE Trade Qualification
• MUST HAVE at least 3 months Underground Coal experience
• Experience working on Long Walls, Belts & Conveyors
• Generic Mine Coal Induction Surface and Underground
• Current Coal Board Medical with current Chest X-ray
• SGS – BMA Induction
• Current Drug & Alcohol Screen test (not older than 3 months)

Details:

• 12 hour Shifts
• Equal on/off Roster
• Accommodation and meals supplied
• Various Mine Sites in the Bowen Basin Region
• Starts ASAP
• Long Term/Permanent
• $44.00 flat rate per hour
