Medacs Healthcare is working with a renowned Trust in London who are looking to recruit a Trust Doctor in Neurosurgery.

Extensive Research facilities exist at The Trust and research will be actively encouraged within the department and in conjunction with other departments of the hospital and college where there is an unusually wide range of research activity. There are excellent teaching facilities with a dedicated and well stocked neurosurgery library with computer projection, PC with on-line access and 8 monthly journals.
Successful candidates will gain experience in operative neurosurgery by assisting in the Operating Theatres, as befitting his/her experience. The department performs a full range of neurosurgical procedures, with their emphasis divided between individual consultants.

Sub-specialisations with the department include:

Complex Spinal Surgery
Functional Neurosurgery
Pituitary Surgery
Skull-base Surgery
Neuro-Trauma: Spinal and Head Injury Management
Neuro-Vascular Surgery
Gamma Knife Radiosurgery (one of 2 units in Britain treating NHS patients).
