Training Manager (PT - 3 days/week)
Clarins is a leading French cosmetic brand with the No 1 position in prestige skincare in Australia, and operates as a division of Trimex Pty Ltd. Clarins has almost 50 years of experience in the beauty industry, and Clarins products are available in 150 countries around the world.
A fantastic opportunity now exists for an experienced and self-motivated Training Manager with a passion for the skincare and cosmetics industry to join our team on a part time basis for 3 days a week. Flexibility is essential, as the days required to work will change depending on the needs of the business.
Reporting to the State Manager you will professionally facilitate training programs across all channels of distribution including group facilitation and onsite coaching in department stores and retail specialists, with the required standards in sales, customer service and product knowledge.
The primary responsibilities include:
• Prepare and conduct all classroom and infield training programs;
• Actively follow through from classroom training to infield training to provide on the job coaching to further enhance selling skills, product knowledge, file-card administration, product merchandising and beauty room operations;
• Build and develop a credible and focused training relationship with beauty salons, pharmacies and department stores through understanding their business and responding to their unique staff training requirements;
• Training venue coordination and administration.
The successful individual will be self-motivated, have the ability to think on their feet and under pressure, inspire and guide individuals and groups, and be a team player.

The successful candidate will have the following competencies and experience:
• Intermediate level Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong organisational and time management skills;
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills;
• 1-2 years previous experience within a training / HR department.
• Qualified Beauty Therapist;
• Certificate IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor;
