Town Planner

Abode Design and Construct are a Development company based in Moonee Ponds. We currently have opportunities available within our Town Planning department.

Due to the rapid expansion of our company, we are looking to take on a town planner on a part time basis (Approximately 3 days per week). The role would entail site feasibility studies and helping to secure new clients, report writing, site visits, council meetings/liaising and managing a workload of 15+ development applications.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get a foot in the door of the planning/development industry and progress their career with a rapidly expanding company.

The right candidate will be:

* Mature, punctual, well written and a good communicator.

* Can work autonomously and as part of a team.

*Possess a current drivers license and car.

*You should be well advanced or in the final year of your town planning degree.

*A decent understanding of Victorian ResCode is essential.

*Although this is not a sales role, experience in a sales role will be looked at favourably.

* The ability to balance study and working 3 days a week with the possibility of Saturdays.
