Team Leader (Metal Fabrication)

Our client manufactures and distributes structural, rail, rod, merchant bar, cold finished bar, chrome plated bar, reinforcing, wire, tube, pipes, fittings, valves and actuation, rail wheels and axles, lite steel beam, grinding media and recycled metals. The majority of their products are used in the construction, manufacturing, housing, mining and agricultural industries.

As the team leader your role will vary. You will not only be required to supervise staff, but you will also be required to perform a variety of tasks that will include;
• Operation of mid range machinery
• Maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Pick and pack, receive and dispatch goods
• Forklift and crane operation
• Basic customer service
• Supervising a team
• Welding and oxy cutting
• Participate in stocktakes
• Safety audits
• Team work


You will need to have a minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role as well as be able to work in a team environment. Forklift driving experience would be preferred, however full training will be provided to the correct applicant. 457 visa sponsorship is also available.
