Electronic Technician

As a member of hardware team in our Client’s Pert office, you will assist in the development, production, testing and installation of wide variety of products. To succeed in this role you will not only enjoy production but also have the ability to think ‘outside the box.’ This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the development and realisation of cutting-edge technology! Since our technology continues to change and grow, you will have multiple projects to work on and will always stay busy.

Requirements:

Essential
Technical qualification (a diploma or equivalent) from a technical institute in electronic engineering
Good understanding of digital and analogue electronics.
Ability to produce drawings, installation instructions for the site installation of systems
Ability to carry out reliability test/documentation of products.
Ability to work with minimum of supervision.
Understanding of safe work practices and QA procedures
Willingness to travel for installations and maintenance within Australia and overseas
Australian citizenship or valid residence visa

Desirable
Good and reliable soldering skills.
Knowledge/Source of electronic components

Experience in one or more of following areas would be an added advantage:

Develop test gear using JTAG interface.
Configuration and fault finding of personal and industrial computers.
Knowledge of power supplies both AC and DC.
Fault finding and configuration of basic communication protocols including RS232/482/485 etc
Fault finding down to component level of complex PCBs
any other tasks as required
