Specialty Doctor (Middle Grade) Paediatrics - UK
Medacs Healthcare is working with a large Trust in London who are looking to recruit aSpecialty Doctor (Middle Grade) in Paediatrics & Neonates.
Overview of the Trust
This London Healthcare NHS Trust was established on 1 April 2009, with the merger of 3 smaller acute trusts. The Trust serves a population in excess of 800,000 in London, and has 3 main campuses along with a number of smaller sites.
The Trust has a combined income of £420 million and over 6,000 staff, making it one of the largest trusts in the country. It will provide a viable and robust platform for achieving Foundation Trust status, in line with national policy, and to respond to the emerging World Class Commissioning agenda.
The trust is in the exciting position of undertaking major service reconfiguration, following public consultation, a subsequent review by the Independent Reconfiguration Panel, and a positive decision by the Secretary of State. The principles of these changes are to consolidate hospital services where this will improve quality, to deliver services closer to people’s homes wherever possible, and to separate emergency from elective work. The trust aims to provide innovative flexible care to the highest standards to the population of London, and to develop its staff to their maximum potential.
