SHO Neurology - UK

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting for a postion as a SHO Neurologist. The hospital is based in the North East of England.

The Department serves a local population of approximately 350,000 and a wider sub-regional population of approximately 1,200,000. The Division includes the departments of Neurosurgery, Neurology, Neurophysiology, Neuroradiology and Neurorehabilitation. The geographical proximity of each element of the neuroscience service has led to excellent working relationships and, undoubtedly, facilitates high quality patient care.

The Trust SHO is responsible for clerking and day to day management of all patients admitted by the five neurologists to the Neurology and Ward and Neuro Rhabilitation Unit. This includes maintenance of good, clear, regualrly updated, signed notes on all patients, communication with general practitioners and attendace at consultant and registrar ward rounds.
Applicants must be registered with the General Medical Council (London) or eligibel for registration and their registration status must be limited or full with no restrictions on speciality.
