With a reputable brand and quality supply of product, we are offering an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated experienced sales representative to carve their niche in the wholesale market and join their successful and respected sales team located in Padstow.
Reporting to the Director and working within a team of management professionals you will be responsible for developing a portfolio of new accounts through generating sales leads as well as maintaining continued service to an existing client base. This involves serving distributors, supermarkets, small goods companies and retail businesses. You will also be involved with inventory management, product specification and identification, logistical management, distribution and daily interaction with suppliers.
To be successful in this position it is essential that you have previous experience in food trading. You must have sound computer skills, be a team player, be highly motivated and have the dedication and ambition to always succeed. Your proven track record in sales or your savvy attitude and your ability to build strong and lasting relationships will ensure your success in this role.
We manufacture and supply a variety of food products from high quality finger food to gourmet meal products.

This is a Sales role which will include new Business Development and Account Management.

You will be responsible for the sales of product to end users via distributors and direct.

This will involve weekly calling into end users from small business to large corporate accounts. Calling into cafes, canteens, catering companies and government departments. You will be negotiating and establishing business with both small business, corporate and government.

You will be visiting distributors weekly and establishing relationships plus assisting them in promoting your product, at times this will involve in tastings and trade shows working with your distributors to develop further business.

We are looking for a sales person that is well spoken and very well presented plus has the ability to communicate at all levels from the SME to Corporate to Government.

The ideal person for this role should have the following;
• Negotiation skills.
• Experience with small and large business.
• Food industry experience or knowledge.
• Sales experience.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent writing & document composing skills.
• Well presented and high attention to detail a must.
The role will involve a training schedule that will involve the manufacturing plant, phone sales, deliveries and other activities that will enhance your skills.
