Project Manager IT

Maptek IT services include custom software development & maintenance, legacy systems support, IT audits, strategy advice and systems analysis, as well as business intelligence support and project management. The current world resource boom has seen Maptek IT working in partnership with its major clients to help them achieve outstanding growth targets. We are looking for several motivated Project Managers to join a growing team based in our Perth and Newcastle offices. Reporting to the Manager, Project Services Office, your main responsibilities will include managing projects according to Maptek IT?s Project Management Methodology, preparing quotations, developing project documents, negotiating budgets, risk and issue management and project reporting. You must have demonstrated experience in project administration or management following a structured methodology, understanding of the software development process and knowledge in MS Project. To be successful in this position, you must have exceptional communication, organisational and problem solving skills as well as an ability to follow process. It is highly desirable though not essential that you have a PRINCE2 qualification.
