Mainline Manager (Cured-In-Place-Pipe)

The primary purpose of the role is to consistently manage and drive all CIPP projects secured by our client in accordance with internal and external standards. You will be required to understand and assist with contract administration, focussing on maximising project and processes performance through leadership, planning, strong management of sub contractors and maintaining excellent service and relationships with key stakeholders. You will be required to assess, evaluate and provide guidance to division management teams to ensure contracted CIPP works are correctly assessed and the appropriate resources allocated to them in order to achieve successful completion. The role as Mainline Manager is also responsible for implementing, maintaining and monitoring OHS aspects across all processes to meet Clients and National safety standards.
Your Duties will include;
• Manage and liaise with the Client and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Liaise and communicate closely with the Division Manager and Project Managers.
• Responsibility for management of contractual issues.
• Maximising profit through cost control and revenue generation.
• Preparation and liaising with management on the submission of Progress Claims.
• Delivery of all aspects within a project on time and under budget.
• Management and the allocation of specific project support staff as required.
• Management and coordination of all Subcontractors.
• Ensure contractual liabilities under contracts are controlled and minimised.
• Preparation and negotiation of contractual claims, including variations.
• Coordination and control of operational processes.
• Search, investigate and implement when and where required new processes and techniques including new process specific equipment.
• Planning and Programming of contract works.
• Forecasting and cash flow control.
• Budget Forecasting.
• Weekly and daily resource programming on projects.
• Ensure productivity targets for contracts are achieved for all resources under your control.
• Provide leadership and direction to all staff within your process delivery team including specific on site guidance and support as and when required.
• Implementation and management of quality systems.
• Develop working relationships with other areas of the business as projects under your management will require the co-operation of other divisions to successfully complete projects.
• Work in conjunction with other departments to achieve outcomes, more specifically, Operations, Traffic Control, Plant & Maintenance and the Finance Team.
• Manage and control stock associated with your projects, including scheduling of orders allowing for significant lead times of material procured from overseas. Negotiate best possible prices while at the same time ensuring the purchase of quality materials.
• Prepare and delivery of various reports for Managers and the Finance Team.
• Presentations on Project Processes to Clients
• To keep confidential matters of the company confidential.
