Machinery Operator

This position will involve the operation of farm machinery including tractors with implements including mowers, weedsprayers, sprayers, mulchers, fertiliser spreaders etc. Other duties may include pruning, hail net and trellis erection and maintenance and general farm duties. A three bedroom residence may be available on site for the successful candidate. Remuneration will be negotiated based on selection criteria and experience.

The ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative and self motivation, good communication skills and be able to work autonomously or in a team environment.
Practical experience in the operation, maintenance and minor repair of spray application equipment and general farm machinery.

Minimum 5 years experience in a horticultural role involving tree fruit.
Sound knowledge of horticultural chemicals and application practices.
Current chemical users certificate, Forklift and drivers licences.
