Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort is a 3 Star Eco Resort located on a coral cay situated 80 km off the coast of Hervey bay and is the southern most island on the Great Barrier Reef. The company is currently seeking a full time experienced Chef. Ideally you would be dynamic in the kitchen and have experience in a similar role and hold a Food & Hygiene Certificate. Reporting to the Head Chef you would be part of our team that provides top quality buffet and cafe style meals to our resort guests. The right person will be a hardworking team player who is multiskilled in food preparation, Kitchen Hand and General cooking duties as well as a hardworking team playerwith an eye for presentation and detail. All applicants must be prepared to live on island and work a 10 day on, 4 day off or 20 on, 8 off roster with the only access to the island being by light aircraft from Hervey Bay or Bundaberg.
