GRADUATE ASSETT ENGINEER

Our client is currently seeking a Graduate Asset Engineer, based at either their Werribee or Ringwood Office, to provide asset and project management services.

This exciting and challenging position should appeal to engineers with several years post graduate experience or young people close to completion of studies/graduation.

Major responsibilities will involve:

• Managing capital works projects from preliminary investigations through to their
construction.
• Investigating, evaluating and reporting on proposed projects.
• Preparing briefs and managing consultants undertaking designs or specialist investigations.
• Preparing contract specifications and documentation.
• Administering and supervising contracts.
• Providing advice on technical aspects related to irrigation infrastructure.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of capital programmes.
• Managing and supporting central asset database.
• Assisting in development and management of asset management programmes.

Pre-requisites for this role includes:

• Possession of a degree in civil engineering or equivalent (or near completion or eligibility for formal graduation in engineering).
• Maintenance of a current Victorian Drivers Licence.

Key selection criteria includes:

• Very good written and oral communication skills.
• Very good PC skills, especially with databases.
