Position Description Position Title: Crew Member (Kitchenhand / Cashier) Reports to: Duty Manager Primary Purpose: To provide high standards of customer service and products whilst maintaining an hygienic environment at all times. Serving the Customer: Key Accountabilities: Performance Measures: Provide an efficient and friendly service when taking orders at the front counter and drive-thru window by:-. Selling and providing assistance to customers in their selection of product range; Suggesting promotional items to complement their meal; Packing product for customers for either take away, dine-in or drive-thru collection; Cleaning tables, internal and external bins, chairs, floor, toilets, front counter area, brass fittings, windows, and car park to ensure a hygienic environment for customers; Adherence to company personal presentation dress standards as per Store Induction and Safety Manual; Managing cash register float and the preparation of regular surplus cash deposits in accordance with Cash Handling procedures; Maintaining stock levels of condiments, straws, serviettes and customer contact cards, product boxes; Maintaining stock levels in front fridge, including presentation standards in relation to facing up product, correcting rotation of stock and date coding as per company procedure; Displaying standard and promotional in-store advertising material in line with company policy and procedure. Feedback from customers – verbal and written on customer contact cards. Mystery shopping audit results. Adequate stock levels during trade. Cash accuracy – variance results. Food Preparation: Key Accountabilities: Performance Measures: Provide fresh quality product by:- Preparing and cooking product; Packing and presenting prepared and cooked products in designated packaging; Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, floor, and cool room fittings as required throughout the day and at close of trade; Adhering to company Job and Food Safe practices:- Using Chicken Cutters and Knives; Electric Oil Filtration; Manual Oil Disposal; Cleaning Floors; Using the Combi Oven; Cleaning the Combi Oven; Storage of Stock; Manual Handling; Using Chemicals; Using the Chicken Warmer; K’A’Rcher High Pressure Cleaner; Syringe Disposal; Know Your Fire Extinguisher; Know Your Fire Blanket. Customer feedback Mystery shopping audit results. Product variance results. Speed of Service Reports. Safety: Key Accountabilities: Performance Measures: Fully observe the company’s safety rules and notify the store management team of any safety procedure or matter which is not fully understood; Report any safety hazard within the work area of malfunction of any machinery, plant or equipment to the store management team; Comply with all written or verbal instructions to ensure personal safety and the safety of others; Attend and complete any training and/or meetings designed to further awareness of safety as and when required.
