Agile Business Analyst
Our team uses an Agile development methodology, so stories are often created, implemented and tested in short iterations. We need someone who believes in Agile sprints and the rapid feedback process. Someone with energy who will get in, nail the stories, liaise their way through dev and test, and use their product knowledge to demonstrate and discuss the stories in the stakeholder review.
Our product environment is fairly technical and involves cloud computing, big data, NoSQL and relational databases, with a strong focus on user experience. Not for faint-hearts or Luddites, but you’ll have a lot of support from the team. We will also be working closely with developers in China, where your excellent communication skills will help support that collaboration.
In a nutshell, our requirements are:
• At least 3 to 5 years experience writing user stories
• Hands-on experience working in Agile sprints
• Able to organise and maintain multiple related user stories
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with Mandarin language skills highly regarded but completely unexpected!
• Good at absorbing and analysing technical information to extract user and product requirements
• Experience with wikis and UI mock-up tools, especially Confluence and Balsamiq
• Adaptable, flexible, gets stuff done. In a word, Agile!
